The long weekend is almost here! If you’re celebrating the 4th of July with friends and family I have the best dessert idea. I love a dessert charcuterie board that’s fun for adults and kids (like this s’mores board). So last year I created this 4th of July strawberry shortcake board which was a huge hit. Using fresh Michigan strawberries, blueberries and whipped cream this red, white and blue dessert is perfect for the holiday. 4th of July Strawberry Shortcake Board
This strawberry shortcake board is really fun and easy to make. I have this wooden board from Pottery Barn and enjoy using it for charcuterie or dessert boards. Along with the board I used simple white bowls for the toppings. You could also use red, white and blue bowls to make the board even more festive! My nephews really enjoyed the star sprinkles with the dessert, and let’s be honest the adults did as well. This is the best dessert to enjoy after a 4th of July bbq with your friends and family!
