I’m going to tell you a secret…I’m not a fan of making salads at home. Until I nailed down this salad dressing I had a really difficult time finding a salad I could make at home and actually enjoy. You know when you go to those fast-casual dining places and you can make your own salad? I struggle so much with what to put on the salad that it never tastes right and I immediately regret my order. I love ordering salads in restaurants, and now I’m starting to like making salads for lunch at home. My mom had this salad dressing recipe that I’ve modified to make into my signature dressing. Salad Dressing
This salad dressing can easily be made in a mason jar. Or if you have a plastic or glass salad dressing container that also works! You can make this dressing before serving or also make it overnight and put it in the refrigerator. I suggest pouring the dressing on your salad right before serving it to avoid a soggy salad. No one likes a soggy salad.

- 1 tbsp Raspberry Wine Vinegar
- 1 tbsp Red Wine Vinegar
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 2 tbsp Sugar

- 1 tbsp Maple Syrup
- 1/4 tsp Dried Parsley
- pinch Pepper
Instructions
- Combine ingredients together and shake well until everything is mixed together.
My family loves this dressing on romaine, spring mix or even kale. Add some walnuts or pecans for some crunch and dried cherries or cranberries for some sweetness. For some cheese I would recommend blue cheese or feta. My mom likes to candy the walnuts or pecans on the stovetop for salads and trust me they taste amazing. Just add 1 cup of nuts to a saucepan on medium high heat on your stovetop. Allow them to toast for 2-3 minutes and continually move them around in the pan (don’t leave the stove because they can burn quickly). Add 2 tablespoons of sugar, pinch of salt and a tablespoon of maple syrup and cook until slightly caramelized. Allow the nuts to cool before adding to the salad.
