Ready for a new recipe? I’m a huge fan of morning glory muffins (check out this recipe), but I had two bananas that needed to be used. After a year of banana bread, I wanted to try something different. So I made morning glory muffins with bananas! Now typically bananas aren’t found in morning glory muffins, but now I’m obsessed. The sweetness from the bananas is a win in these muffins. Scroll down to get the recipe for these banana morning glory muffins.

Morning Glory Muffins with Bananas
On our trips to Vero Beach, FL I couldn’t get enough of the good morning muffins from Cravings. If you happen to be in Vero Beach I would highly recommend stopping here for a sweet treat or breakfast in the morning. So, with a ton of carrots and two bananas in my kitchen I decided to try this twist on classic morning glory muffins.

These muffins were really easy to make, and tasted delicious. The most time consuming part is shredding the carrots for these muffins. I used a box grater to shred the carrots and it worked really well.

The banana in these muffins adds some sweetness, and also makes the muffins moist. You could also use golden raisins or even cranberries or blueberries in this recipe.
