Cheers to summer friends! I know this summer might look a lot different than any of us anticipated. But, I’m still determined to make the most of these beautiful days in Michigan. Sitting outside for meals with a drink in hand sounds pretty perfect right now. I recently made this Paloma cocktail after seeing Amy Schumer make it on her show “Amy Schumer Learns to Cook” on the Food Network. If you haven’t seen this show it’s a must-watch. Trust me. Scroll down for this Paloma cocktail recipe!

Here’s the recipe for a Paloma that Amy Schumer shared on her show. I revised it a little since I didn’t have any pineapple, but I would love try this next time. If you haven’t had a Paloma it’s sorta a cross between a margarita and a spritz. I love the refreshing grapefruit juice and addition of the sparkling water to this drink. It’s honestly perfect to enjoy outside during the summer with some chips and guacamole.

For this recipe I used my favorite Nellie & Joe’s key lime juice. You can find this at most grocery stores here in West Michigan. If you don’t have Nellie & Joe’s juice you can totally use regular lime juice. Also, if you like your drinks on the sweeter side I would suggest adding a little more sugar or simple syrup to your cocktail. The best part about this cocktail is you can really customize it to make it your own. If you’re a fan of a margarita and love grapefruit this is a must for you to try.
