In case you missed it on Instagram last week, Cory shared a recipe for making an Aperol Spritz. And, after all the photos I went through yesterday in Tuscany I just had to share this recipe for Aperol Spritz. If you’re unfamiliar with this drink, it’s origins go back to Italy (in the Venice region). So, on our travels last year to Venice, Italy we noticed many people drinking these at cafes along the street. Of course we had to try one (although we were a little skeptical), but we were instantly hooked. Have you tried an Aperol Spritz before?
An Aperol Spritz is a must for warmer weather, but I could honestly drink them any season. What I love most about a spritz is how refreshing they are. As an aperitivo, this light drink is just perfect for pairing with some light snacks before dinner. If you’re wondering what Aperol tastes like, it has a lot of orange flavor and sweetness that pairs really well with the prosecco. Try this drink for your next happy hour!
