Espresso Chocolate Chip Brownies

- 1 cup Butter melted
- 1 1/2 cups Granulated Sugar
- 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
- 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 4 Eggs
- 1 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
- 1 tbsp Espresso Powder
- 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 3/4 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9x13 pan and set aside.
In a large bowl melt your butter in the microwave. Add the granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla to the melted butter and stir to combine.
Add the unsweetened cocoa powder, espresso powder, baking powder and salt. Using a hand mixer, beat these ingredients in the melted butter/sugar mixture.
Add the chocolate chips and stir to combine.
Pour the batter in the prepared pan. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle is clean.
Allow the brownies to cool. Once cooled you can use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut the brownies or cut them into squares. Top with powdered sugar (optional) or serve with vanilla ice cream.
