Monkey Bread

This monkey bread recipe is super simple to make, and a huge hit with adults and kids. Perfect for a Christmas brunch!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 Refrigerated Biscuit Cans (10.2 oz)
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 6 tbsp Butter

Instructions

  • Heat your oven to 350°F. Grease a 6-cup fluted bundt pan with butter (make sure to get in all the grooves). In large food storage bag, mix sugar and cinnamon to create cinnamon sugar.
  • Separate the biscuits and cut each into quarters. Add these biscuit quarters to the cinnamon sugar bag, and shake to coat. Arrange biscuits in pan, and sprinkle a little  bit of the remaining cinnamon sugar over biscuits.
  • Add the brown sugar and butter to a small pan. On medium heat melt these ingredients together. When melted, pour on top of biscuits in the bundt pan.
  • Bake for 30 minutes or until golden and the biscuits are no longer doughy. Let cool for 5 minutes before turning over on a plate. Serve warm.
