Salted Caramel Crispy Rice Treats

These Crispy Rice Treats are my all time favorite with the addition of salted caramel. This is the perfect fall snack/dessert!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 10 oz bag Mini Marshmallows
  • 5 cups Crispy Rice Cereal
  • 1/2 tsp Sea Salt
  • 1-2 tbsp Caramel Sauce

Instructions

  • Grease a 9×13 pan with butter. If you want thicker bars (which I prefer) you can make this in a smaller pan. I used a 8×10.5 pan for these bars. Make sure to grease the sides of the pan as well to make sure the bars don't stick. Set the pan aside.
  • In a large pot melt the butter. Once the butter is melted add the mini marshmallows and stir until melted.
  • Mix in the Crispy Rice Cereal until everything is mixed together.
  • Press the mixture into your prepared pan. I find a silicone spatula helps to spread the mixture in the pan.
  • Allow to cool for an hour and then drizzle with caramel sauce and top with the sea salt.
