Easter Bunny Cake
My mom has been making this Easter bunny cake since I was little. I have so many memories decorating this cake with my sister using our Easter candy. This is the perfect cake to make this Easter with your family!

- 1 Boxed Cake Mix
- 2 Frosting Containers
- Red Food Coloring
- Shredded Coconut
- Candy Coated Chocolate Pieces
- Chocolate Covered Almonds
- Chocolate Mini Eggs
Make the cake mix as directed on the box. Pour the patter into two 9-inch round prepared cake pans. Bake as directed on the box.
Remove the cakes from the pan and allow to cool completely on a wire rack. I usually leave my cakes to cool overnight.
Use one of the round cakes as the head. Cut the other one like the diagram for the bowtie and ears.
Get creative with the decorations! I used some red food color with the frosting to make the pink inside the ears. I also used shredded coconut for the hair of the bunny. For the eyes I used chocolate covered almonds and the nose is a pink chocolate mini egg. The bowtie is Easter candy coated chocolate pieces. You can use any candy or decorations you like for this cake. Have fun!
