Caprese Salad

This caprese salad is a go-to during the summer season. I love the crisp tomatoes with the creamy mozzarella cheese and sweet balsamic vinegar. Trust me this salad is perfec for a summer lunch.

Ingredients

  • 3-4 Vine Ripened Tomatoes
  • 1 8 oz Fresh Mozzarella Ball
  • 10-15 Basil Leaves
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Balasamic Vinegar

Instructions

  • Wash your tomatos and cut them 1/4 inch thick. Set aside.
  • Cut the mozzarella 1/4 inch thick. Make sure your mozzarella is cold before cutting it. Sometimes I put it in the freezer for a few minutes. Set aside.
  • Begin assmbling the salad on a plater. Alternate the tomato, mozzarella and basil.
  • Drizzle the salad with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper.
