Reindeer Noses Recipe
My mom has been making these holiday treats for years, and they were always a favorite when we were younger. To be honest I think they’re still my favorite (along with this white chocolate snack mix). The pretzel rings usually come out during the holidays, although they can be tricky to find. If you can’t find pretzel rings at your local grocery store you could also use the waffle pretzels or small pretzel twists to make this recipe.
For the chocolate and candy pieces you can use your favorite varieties. I prefer the classic milk chocolate Hershey Kisses and holiday M&M milk chocolate candy. But, you could use dark chocolate, white chocolate or even Rolo chocolates in this recipe.
Reindeer Noses
Ingredients
- 25 Pretzels Ring pretzels work best, but you can also use tiny twists or waffle pretzels.
- 25 Hershey Kisses I use milk chocolate, but you can use your favorite type of Kisses. Rolos also work for this recipe.
- 25 Holiday M&Ms I like the regular milk chocolate ones for this recipe, but you could use your favorite variety.
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 225 degrees F.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Add the pretzels in an even layer on the baking sheet. Put an unwrapped Hershey Kiss in the center of each of the pretzels.
- Bake for 3-5 minutes or until the chocolate is shiny and an M&M easy presses into the center of the chocolate.
- Remove from the oven and gently press the M&Ms into the center of the Kisses.
- Allow to cool and put in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving.
These reindeer noses also make a sweet gift for neighbors or friends during the holidays. I used these treat boxes from Wilton to package these up for my nephews. Add a bow and Christmas sticker to the box and you’re good to go.
