Am I right? The mix is actually really easy to make and tastes so much better homemade. I set up a fun hot chocolate bar for Cory and I to enjoy with a holiday movie. Hot Chocolate Mix
Making your own hot chocolate at home is so easy! You can also store the mix in an airtight container to use throughout the winter. Or if you’re looking for a fun holiday gift for friends and neighbors this would be perfect. You can gift the mix in a mason jar with a cute holiday bow and directions. It’s a cute DIY gift that kids and adults both enjoy.
Hot Chocolate
Ingredients
- 3 cups Dry Milk Powder
- 2 cups Powdered Sugar You can also use granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 cups Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
- 1 1/2 cups Powdered Non-Dairy Creamer
- 1/8 tsp Salt
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl combine the dry milk powder, powdered sugar, unsweetened cocoa powder, powdered non-dairy creamer and salt.
- Store the hot chocolate mix in an airtight container.
- To serve add 1/3 cup hot chocolate mix to a coffee mug with boiling water or milk. Add mini marshmallows, chocolate chips and a candy cane.
Like I mentioned above, I set up a fun hot chocolate bar for Cory and I to enjoy with a Christmas movie. This was really easy to set up, and I’m totally doing it again with my nephews. Along with the hot chocolate I included some mini marshmallows, espresso chocolate chips and candy canes. You could also serve this with whipped cream or any of your favorite hot chocolate toppings.
