You guys know I love a good spritz cocktail, and this Hugo Spritz is my new favorite. The mix of lime, mint and elderflower liqueur is quite possibly the best combination EVER. I know these combination of flavors sounds a little interesting, but trust me on this one. Top this cocktail with some crisp, cold prosecco and you’re good to go.
Hugo Spritz Cocktail
This popular cocktail originated in northern Italy, is perfect on a warm summer day. When it comes to the elderflower liqueur I would recommend St. Germain, but you can also make your own elderflower syrup if you prefer. Make sure you slightly muddle the mint, lime and St. Germain together for the oils in the mint to come out. This really makes the drink have some great flavor before you pour the prosecco on top.
